Bid day should not be a guess
Most invitations to bid go out as an email with a folder link attached, and then the trail goes cold.
Chasing subs by email
- You paste the same list of addresses into a new message for every project, and hope nobody has been dropped.
- Someone unsubscribes, someone else changes firms, and you find out when the bounce lands — or never.
- Two days before the deadline you start phoning round to ask who is actually quoting.
No idea who opened the plans — until now
- One list, reused on every project, with unsubscribes and bounces handled for you.
- A private link per subcontractor, so every open and download is attributed to a firm.
- A planholder list that answers "who is bidding this?" without a single phone call.
How it works
Three steps from an empty project to a planholder list that fills itself in.
Step 1: Create the project and upload plans
Start a project, drop in the drawings, specs and addenda, and set the bid due date and time zone.
Step 2: Pick your subcontractor list
Choose contacts by trade or group, or import a spreadsheet you already keep. Unsubscribed and bounced addresses are removed for you.
Step 3: Send and watch who opens, downloads and bids
Every recipient gets their own private link. The planholder list fills in as they open the invitation, pull files and tell you whether they are bidding.
Everything the bid invitation needs
Built for pre-construction, not adapted from a generic mailing tool.
Blast tool
Pick files, pick recipients, write the message, send. Suppressed addresses are dropped at send time so you never email someone who opted out.
No-login access for subs
Each subcontractor opens a private link straight to your documents. No account, no password, nothing to remember.
Public planroom
Your own page listing every open project, ready to link from your website so bidders can find work without calling you.
PIN-protected private listings
Keep an invited-only job off the public list and hand out a PIN to the firms you actually want quoting it.
Bid calendar
Every due date on one page, in the project time zone, so nothing slips past a deadline.
Planholder tracking and CSV export
See who opened, who downloaded and who is bidding, then export the planholder list as CSV for your bid file.

Questions
Do subcontractors need an account to see the plans?
No. Each recipient gets a private link that opens straight to the documents. There is no password to set and nothing to install.
How do I know who actually opened the plans?
The planholder list on every project records who opened the invitation, which files they downloaded and when, and whether they have told you they are bidding.
Can I keep a job off the public planroom?
Yes. Mark the project private and it is left off your public page. Anyone you want on it gets in with a PIN or a direct invitation.
What happens to people who unsubscribe or bounce?
They are suppressed automatically and skipped on every later send. You cannot accidentally email an address that has opted out or hard bounced.
Can I bring the contact list I already have?
Yes. Import a CSV, map your columns once, and tag contacts by trade or group so you can reuse the list on the next bid.
What happens when the 14-day trial ends?
The trial runs for 14 days without a card. When it ends your account becomes read-only until you pick a plan — nothing is deleted and your projects stay where you left them.
