Who we are
BidBlast is a service for construction pre-construction teams. It sends project drawings and specifications to a list of subcontractors and records who opened, downloaded and responded to them. This page describes the personal information the service handles.
Information we collect
We collect the account details you give us when you sign up — your name, your work email address and your company name. We collect the contact records you upload or enter, which typically include a subcontractor's name, company, email address and trade.
We record activity generated by the service: which invitations were sent, whether an email was delivered or bounced, which documents were opened or downloaded, and the responses subcontractors give about whether they are bidding.
How we use it
We use this information to operate the service: to deliver the invitations you send, to build the planholder list for each project, to enforce the limits of your plan, and to contact you about your account. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We use third-party providers to run the service, including hosting, database, file storage, email delivery, background job and payment providers. Each processes information only to provide their part of the service.
Unsubscribing
Every invitation carries an unsubscribe link. Once a recipient unsubscribes, or once an address hard bounces, that address is suppressed and excluded from later sends.
Retention
We keep project data for as long as the account is active. When an account is closed, the data associated with it is removed on the schedule described in our terms.
Your choices
You can access, correct or delete the contact records in your account at any time from within the application. To ask a question about this policy, or to request that we remove information we hold about you, contact us using the address on your invoice.
